i'll start this off by saying that i'm going to remain anonymous. i'm willing to share my life and secrets with strangers, but not with people i know. so you can call me K--for "kicking this list's ass"

okay so about my medical situation

i have a brain tumor. that's it. that's the elephant in the room.
the doctors found it when i was about six and i've been pushing on since then
i've had to live with the symptoms, in and out of hospitals and tests and injections
my mom hovers constantly and i've never gotten to really live
for a while the tumor (KJ or Junior) wasn't growing--just sitting there and pressing on my brain. it doesn't sound good but it was. it meant i wasn't getting worse. in medical terms, that's a dream.
so i was lucky. until now at least
because now KJ decided that he wanted more. he wanted to be bigger and better. so he's growing. which is not so good for me.
the doctors say five months but who knows? KJ has a mind of his own

so my life isn't going to be as long as anticipated. which was why i made the decision to stop medical treatment and hospitals and stuff. for a while we had tried chemo and radiation and all that crap that makes me feel even worse. i figured if i was going to have a short life, i better make it a good one. one that isn't filled with hairless hospital visits and painful injections and tests and scans and surgery attempts.

the motto is quality over quantity. yeah, i've learned that my time is going to be a bit shorter than most people's, but i'm gonna make it some kickass time. hence the bucket list.

i may not live the longest, but damn me to hell if i don't live

actual about me:
i wear flannels all the time and my favorite season is fall. i love nectarines and chocolate but not together obviously. curly hair is definitely not a blessing. i really like to read and watch tv. i've always only had one best friend but she's always been enough. i'm kind of a pain in the ass. i'm usually rolling my eyes.
and that is all.
